Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to request deletion of personal data associated with BAMS services and Meta/Facebook-connected features.

1. Request Method

Send an email to degs@bams.net with subject: Data Deletion Request.

2. Required Details

• Full name
• Registered email address
• Organization/Barangay
• Requested action (delete account, delete specific records, revoke integration data)
• If Meta-related: Facebook account identifier or app user reference (if available)

3. Verification

For security, we may verify identity and authorization before processing requests.

4. Processing Timeline

We acknowledge requests as soon as practical and process verified requests within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention and operational obligations.

5. Retained Information

Where legally required, certain records may be retained for compliance, fraud prevention, legal defense, or audit purposes.

6. Meta/Facebook App Removal

You may also remove app access from your Facebook settings. After removal, you can still email us to request server-side deletion of related data.
